Session No. 23 Capitol Casino (12/23)

4/8 Kill TP = +$212 TSP = 3 Hrs

This was the most aggresive (preflop) session to date. On the advice of the Superstar, and in an effort to be less exploitable, I adapted the mantra of "If it is folded to me, I would raise to play, regardless of the cards." Obviously they had to be playable.

I had a huge range today, and I was running really well. Here are the hands that I raised when folded to:

T9s in MP, JTs, KTos in LP, and on a straight steal attempt QTs UTG+1, and my personal favorite 66 UTG.

Here is the HH for that hand:

Hero is UTG w/ 66:

Hero raises, called in 2 spots and the blinds call. (5 players)

Flop: 5 6 7 rainbow (Boom???)

Checked to hero who leads, folds back to the SB who Check raises, then the BB 3 bets, Hero caps.

Turn: A (2 hearts).

SB checks, BB leads, Hero raises, SB folds, BB 3 bets, Hero calls. Pretty sure I need to pair the board now and the aggro tard BB has a a straight but I didn't give him any credit at all. He was the same guy from the session that The Superdonk, Santi, and I were on the same table and he donked away $600+ in a little more that 2 hours.

Anyways, River: 7 (Boom!!!!!)

BB leads, Hero Raises, BB 3 bets, Hero Caps, BB calls.

Hero shows Sixes Full of Sevens, and BB shows 34 of hearts for the flopped straight.
:-) I run goooooooooooot!!!!

That was a huge pot.

The table was really loose and I was able to limp behind in LP w/ the gap connectors, 57s-68s, and the T7s it I made some goofy two pairs, and flushes.

See you at the Creek on Thursday.

-Merry Christmas!!!!!

Wow, sounds like a good session. Way to get lucky on that river spewtard ;) Kidding of course, David (tall-ish big brown guy, glasses, kinda fem) plays a lot of different hands the same way on that board. Once he 3-bets the turn though I call down.

I'm not too crazy about the QTs in such EP, but if they weren't fighting back with re-raises...I guess I don't mind it too much.

Overall glad to see you're opening up...just remember that players will adjust eventually, so you'll have to change gears back a little.

Also, remember the Fekali article and raising SCs after limpers, you can always try that as well.

See ya Thursday.
